Love, Money and Compassion, And Growing Up

14 comments - Post a comment

In these times of economic anxiety, couples can begin to worry about their financial security, and may even start to blame one another for their earning or spending habits. Many of us find it difficult to talk about money without becoming emotional and defensive. By learning to talk about money, we begin to grow up.

Trust and security are the foundations of a healthy relationship. Financial stability is one brick in this foundation and every couple will need to figure out a way to communicate about their feelings around money. Communication is the keystone when it comes to financial management between couples. So how do you develop the skills to talk about money.....

Be brutally honest with yourself and compassionately honest with your spouse.

If you spend more then you make, keep your spending habits a secret, or fail to follow a budget, you need to admit this to yourself and to your spouse. Honesty about finances is the first step to developing an adult relationship with money. As you take responsibility for your own spending habits you want to avoid blaming or shaming your spouse for his or her monetary habits. The blame game only serves to build up those defenses that inhibit grown-up communication.

Know yourself and your partner.

Because money is the number one reason couples fight, it will become important for you to explore your own beliefs and expectations around money. How was money handled in your family of origin, what does it mean to you, do you see money as power, as evil, and a means to an end? Once you identify your beliefs, you can choose to accept them or challenge them - but own them, they are yours. Share these beliefs with one another so that you know where you stand. Be just as curious about your partners' beliefs as your own and use the conversation to demonstrate compassion for one another.

Accept Responsibility.

Responsibility for your financial health belongs to both individuals, even when only one partner makes most of the money or pays the bills. Decisions about who manages the money can depend on who is best suited to the job, who has the most time available, or who is most interested in this particular task. Maybe in your situation, the tasks will be divided and spread between you. Either way, both parties need to be aware of what the other is doing. You need to know and understand your budget and you need to accept responsibility for it.

Compromise.

Because you will have differing beliefs about money, you will likely want to spend it in different ways. This is normal, it's natural, in fact, it's desirable. We really don't want to be married to someone who is exactly like us. We need the balance, the yin, the yang! We each bring different thoughts, ideas, and gifts to the relationship. Use these gifts to develop a strong and realistic budget.

Learn and accept the basics of money management.

A few basic things hold true when it comes to money. Once we accept them, our lives can become simple, our finances can align, and we can find the security we long for in our relationship. The basics are: don't spend more then you earn, stick to your budget, save a little for emergencies and for the future, spend a little on things that make you happy, develop compassion for yourself and your spouse when things don't go as you expected.

2. Another excellent strategy is to simply get out and enjoy yourself! Go out with your friends, it'll make you feel better for a start plus you will soon be able to tell 'does your ex still have feelings for you' by their reaction to the happy relaxed you. You may find your ex reaching out to discover what is going on and why you aren't devastated and hidden away waiting for them to call.

3. If your looking for signs as you try to figure out does your ex still have feelings for you then a good place to start is with those precious gifts and memorabilia they may still have. If they do still keep most of the items you gave or shared then this is a good sign for you, if you can again try and find out through friends whether that photo of the two of you in Fiji last year is still on your ex's wall then you can get some good indication, combined with other factors to ascertain does your ex still have feelings for you.

Well if they are asking any sorts of questions about you and your life then it's safe to assume they do. Many people miss this completely thinking that they just want to remain friends as may have been decided already.

5. Still on the subject of 'Just friends' if you are still getting the occasional phone call from your ex then that in itself is a good sign. It would be wise to note the time and circumstances of the call, plenty of clues to be gained here. Does your ex still have feelings for you? Well if they are calling late at night from a party or similar then it's a clearer sign than just the friendly afternoon call for certain.

So these are just some basic suggestions to enable you to try and gage does your ex till have feelings for you. There are lots of other signs and also some very useful strategies you can read about online to give you an excellent chance of regaining a lost love.

The Mystery Behind Masculine Men And Ovulating Girls

10 comments - Post a comment

It is during ovulation that a woman is most likely to conceive when she engages in sex. At this time her subconscious behavior is to attract any potential mate. Her fertility days are full of expectations of mating though she might not know it. Masculine men and ovulating girls always find themselves together. A strong masculine man can be trusted to bring forth powerful offspring's. This explains the preference of masculine men for short-lived flings but not for long-lasting mates. Findings show that the value attached to masculinity varies with context and also depending on the reproductive cycle of a woman. Masculinity is also opted for depending on her immediate goals and how attractive she rates herself. Some of these brain tricks play a major role in a woman's sex drive......

A woman who is ovulating behaves in a manner to suggest that quick sex is important, something she has no control over. Research shows that women love masculine men at this time of the reproductive cycle. It shows that facial masculinity is a great contribution. Properly defined brow ridges together with square jaws are viewed as good characteristics of a potential fling conquest. Feminine traits in a man's face are considered best for long-term relationships. It is during ovulation that some men have confessed that women smell better to them. A woman who considers herself attractive always go for the manly type of guys. The two groups of masculine men and ovulating girls find themselves attractive and so they do not hesitate to hit it off.

The choice of the huge guys by women who are at the pick of their reproductive cycles is associated to evolutionary biology. Hormone testosterone is believed to be behind all this reason being that its circulating levels in a masculine body are higher. This is the hormone that is responsible for the "ever-ready" sex status in men. It dictates the level of sex drive in a man. Masculine men and ovulating girls have high levels of sex hormones in their body. During ovulation a woman calls out for a man who has the same urgency to make love. Guys with hard bodies and well shaped, sculpted jaws are better candidates to produce even better babies. Their genes are marketable therefore it makes a lot of sense for fertile women to find them attractive.

Masculinity is not always the cool thing to a woman. Why would a woman opt for a less masculine man? It is true that manly guys are attractive to ovulating women but their less masculine counter parts are always the choice for women when they are not fertile. They are also preferred as long-life spouses. This might be because high levels of testosterone barely encourage men to stay around in their homes. Research reveals that less masculine guys invest more in their relationships making them definitely more appealing to women who are at their least fertility points. When a woman is pregnant she needs a great deal of relationship investment from a male. Masculine men and ovulating girls act under hormonal influence. The manly guys mate and then leave without a second glance while a less masculine man will give the woman the much needed emotional support. If you are a woman who is ovulating, think twice before you act. A masculine man is not every body's cup of tea.

Real Sexuality is Not About Sex

No Comment - Post a comment

When we talk of sexuality we are not talking about explicit sex, either in word or deed. Rather we are referring to a gut feeling that bypasses the mind and body parts and stimulates all the senses.

Have you ever noticed the lack of self-consciousness and the confidence that someone really sexual exudes?

That's because real sexuality has nothing to do with thinking; it has to do with being-being alive, feeling connected to an inner core. When we are allied with our Inner Self we are turned on and when we are turned on, people are turned on to us......

In the classical literature of Kashmir Shaivism, kundalini is Divine energy, the snake that lies coiled at the base of the spine. Uncoiled, it moves up the spine, where it reunites at the top of the head with God, the Divine, and your own true Self.

As this energy is released it creates a vibration that is very powerful. This vibration is an emanation of the Inner Self and moves with strength and speed in the physical world. When we are in the presence of someone whose kundalini has been awakened, we pick up a different pulsation; there is something very attractive and engaging about this person.

Most of the time we have no idea intellectually what is going on-we just feel attracted. Initially, we may think the attraction is sexual, but that is just how we have previously interpreted wanting to be near someone. Now, all of our senses are stimulated, and we are awake, aware of a different energy that is both intoxicating and alluring.

This force captures us, and we are inexplicably drawn to the juicy feeling. We feel the need to move closer and closer because the energy is familiar; it may be the other person's but it is our energy too, Divine energy, the same in us all-and when we feel it, we know it. We cannot help but respond. With the other as a mirror, we are drawn in, never realizing we are turned on to our own vibration.

Feeling whole, we glow from the inside. This is what real sexuality is all about.

What Defines a Successful Relationship - Its Not What You Think!

No Comment - Post a comment

Seriously there is so much that goes into defining successful relationships. Now I know I could just cover the usual. Honesty, love, communication blah blah blah ...

Yeh yeh I know that we need them .... I mean you have to be pretty slow to not realize that these are highly important things in ANY relationship.

But I'm going to go through some things that I think are SO important that a lot of people overlook. So you guys better be ready for it.

So lets just say for arguments sake that I'm talking about a LTR. For those of you that are not used to the lingo, that means Long Term Relationship.

I believe that there are 2 parts in attaining a successful relationship......

Part ONE - Before the relationship - It All Starts With You!

Get your own life: So this is a subject that I have covered over and over again. I'm always talking about loving yourself and living your own life. In order to attract an ideal partner into your life .. you really have to be that which you are seeking. I know it sounds soo profound doesn't it? I'm quite proud of myself, thanks for asking =)

But what I mean is that once you have established what it is that you want to see in your ideal partner then you have to BECOME the type of person that your ideal partner would have to date! Seems simple right? Well it is. So that means stop focusing on what is missing in your life and start focusing on living your life, enjoying it and making the most out of what you have got. It is only until you do this, and give LOVE to yourself first that you are then in the right emotional framework to get yourself into a healthy and stable relationship.

Get Over it: What do I mean here? Well I'm talking about the fact that there is probably some negative beliefs that you have internalized from your past relationships that may affect any future relationships. Meaning to say, its time to delve into them, uncover all your feelings and emotions, bring them out and deal with them. Its then time to replace any old beliefs with new and empowering ones. Its then time to replace old habits with new ones that serve you. Its time to clean that slate so you can make a fresh start.

Selection: A lot of people stuff it up here. They pick someone who they are simply just attracted to and yet have nothing in common with. Here's the thing. As much as I love talking about attraction and its magical affects on the opposite sex. Attraction without anything to back it up .. is useless for any potential long term relationship. No matter how hot you are or how attracted you are to someone, it ain't going anywhere if you have nothing in common with them.

Common Values: I really think that before you dive into a relationship that you know what you want. Like I'm not talking about a hardcore shopping list with 3 million things on it. But I am talking about sitting down and really thinking about the things that are important to YOU and therefore what you would also like to see in your potential partner. What I'm talking about is values. Like here is an extreme example. If you are a highly ambitious driven and focused person then you don't really want to be dating someone who's whole life ambition is to milk the government for all its got by being the first person to get the most payouts from unemployment benefits. You get the point.

Part TWO - During The Relationship

Honest Appreciation: OK so here is the thing. Even though this may sound really lame I have read " Women Are From Venus And Men Are From Mars" - Absolutely awesome book and I recommend that anyone who wants to have healthy relationships should read that book. The one thing that I did learn is that Men and Women have different ways in which they feel loved. They communicate in a different language.

Girls in order to feel loved need to be heard and validated. Meaning to say that when they have a terrible day they just need to talk about it, just it makes them feel so much better. Guys, we do not want solutions. Any of the solutions that you come up with we have already thought of. We just want you to listen to our stuff. N by doing that ... we will think that you are the sweetest and most caring boyfriend in the world. N hey who is complaining, its less work for you!

For the guys. Well apparently honest appreciation is really important. The number one thing that you want to feel is that you are capable men. This means that you can do things without our help, but would like that to be acknowledged at the end.

Understanding Of The Others Needs: Everyone has rules. Everyone has rules to tell them when its time to feel loved and unloved. This falls under communication in the sense that you have to be able to talk to your partner to know your partner so that you can help them get their needs met, while they help you get yours met too. Its all about communicating in the right language and having the trust that this person is going to sick by you thick and thin.

Quality Time: So here is the thing. You can have this great partner who is right for you in every single way. But if you hardly get to see him, then there is no POINT! When I say quality time, I'm saying that you actually need to set aside time, that is just YOU and HIM/HER time. No one else. You can do something that you enjoy doing together or whatever. We are all busy these days, life is not normal if you are not busy. But making the time out to spend with your partner is so important when it comes to having a successful relationship.

I'm not just talking about watching a movie together. But I mean taking some extra time out of your schedule and planning something together. Its also good to have like date night where you can take turns on who gets to think of the ideas. But the most important thing that you are setting aside time to spend with your partner, rather than just spending time with them when you get the chance.

Time Apart: Some of you may be thinking. Say what?! It sounds like I'm contradicting myself right? Well not really. Ever heard the saying give someone the gift of missing you? Well I'm kind of applying that theory here. Yeh its great spent quality time with someone. But see I mentioned the word QUALITY. There is no point being with your guy or girl 24/7. Because no matter how good they are ... you appreciate them more when you haven't seen them all day or the past couple of days.

This is also important because it also prevents you from becoming too attached and needy. Meaning to say doing this will prevent your from becoming too needy and dependent on the other person. In essence what I'm trying to say, is that you still need to remember yourself and your own life. You still have your own things to do and you still have a fulfilling life even if he is not their beside you all the time.

Growth: I was saving the best for last. For a relationship to maintain its greatness, it has to grow. N the people within it have to grow together. It does not work if one person grows and the other person remains the same. That is usually the reason why most people do break up. In order to grow the people within that relationship have to have a common goal or something that they are striving for together. Some of the best marriages that I have seen are couples who are supporting each other in attainment of their dreams. Without this kind of direction and growth the relationship gets stale and unfufilling. Its great if people within the relationship can support and inspire each other in achieving each of their own or common goals.

With that being said. In answer to the second part of that question "what does it take to achieve that success?" Well i would have to say it takes a couple of things. At first it takes maturity, self love and respect. This is will get you into a relationship that is worthwhile. In order to maintain that then you will need, communication, patience, unconditionally love, self sacrifice, undying trust, empathy and the belief that this wonderful relationship that you have created is something that you well and truly deserve.

Romantic Relationship Compatibility - Issues That Should Not Be Overlooked

2 comments - Post a comment

Relationship Compatibility... What is it? It is simply the ability of people to live together without problems. What type of problems? A problem free relationship is the one in harmony, and when or where there is harmony, there is peace. Problem, whether big or small, would arise when the level of compatibility is low, and the issues involved are mainly those compatibility issues that the couples should not have overlooked. True compatibility is not measured by the argument about the positioning of the T.V. Shelve or what the color of the window blind in the visitors' room should be.

If you ask average singles, what is it that they want in a partner, they would rather be telling you those physical qualities they would like to see in their Partner, like being tall, handsome, athletic, beautiful, and so on. But in reality, all these qualities are not necessarily issues that could not be overlooked. They are outward issues and have less important impact on compatibility......

Now, how do you know when and if you are compatible with the person you are dating? The short and simple answer is : You don't. At least, not in the beginning. Clearly, you're not a mind reader. You need a way to think through the issues that can make or mar a relationship. It is the presence (or lack) of compatibility in any relationship that causes the relationship to last or causes it to fail. Consider these questions: How will you get along with another person? What will the highs and lows, be in the relationship? Is it a match made in heaven or hell? Usually, Astrology plays a role in providing a guide to couples or people involved in a relationship. Astrologers, through the use of charts, compares the interrelationship of two separate charts through which they can reveal the ways and levels that the two people can relate with each other.

The romantic compatibility chart compares two people with regards to all the things that affect their ability to live in harmony with each other, from relationship personality and lifestyle to sexuality and passion. This is one of the most comprehensive ways available that will help you to understand how You should relate romantically with another person and how you both can better understand and appreciate each other. Actually, romantic compatibility relies more on couples or partners, and not just what astrology says.

In view of the above, there are some relationship compatibility issues that should not be overlooked, which include but not limited to the following:

1. FAMILY UPBRINGING (CLASS AND RELIGION)

This is a very important issue that should not be overlooked, as it may be difficult for an individual to change from the ways he/she grows with from childhood. It may be difficult for an individual from a very wealthy family background who has always been relating with people of the same class to now change over night and start seeing himself/herself relating with somebody(especially when you take the extended family into consideration) from the lower class of the society. Difference in religious belief should also be given serious consideration from beginning. If this is not properly considered and settled, the couple will always be viewing issues from different perspectives and this may lead to recurrent problems.

2. INTELLECTUAL COMPATIBILITY

There should be some reasonable level of compatibility here. A highly intelligent individual will always view issues from the angle of perfection and may not be able to tolerate , work or live with a mediocre.

3. SEXUAL COMPATIBILITY

There should be some manageable level of compatibility here, to avoid the likely result of sexual incompatibility, which includes cheating.

4. PERSONAL CHARACTER AND ATTITUDE

Laziness, Cleanliness, tolerance, friendship e.t.c.

5. INDIVIDUAL PREFERENCE

Life Goals, Business and Enterprise, Spending Habit and Life Style

OTHER ISSUES

1. COLOR
2. ETHNICITY
3. PHYSICAL APPEARANCE

The first two of the other issues above should be easy to manage except in a society where there is ethnic problem or racism. The last is normally a thing of the mind and should be easily managed depending on the individuals concerned.

In conclusion, if these issues have been discussed with open mind and you think you both find each other compatible and that you love each other for sure, the romantic compatibility will grow slowly between you and your partner. Astrology just guide and gives you some important details that might help you in choosing your potential partner in future and certain aspects that will help you enhance your personality and building up the romantic compatibility in your relationship.

Lastly, this issues could not be exhausted in a single article like this one, to have access to a more comprehensive discussion of the issues, visit http://www.romanticaccord.com.

Telling A Girl You Like Her - Ways To Tell A Girl You Like Her

4 comments - Post a comment

Telling a girl that you like her is something that the most macho of men fear. Of course, emotions can take over your logic & your actions as well. No matter what, you must be prepared mentally before you do anything at all.

Why not we start with some ways that totally will not work! Email, instant messenger, phone, letters, teddy bears, etc, these will not work. In this special case, you are about to express an important message to the woman you like, you must tell her face to face.

Never even attempt to ask her if she likes you! That is still not the worse thing you can ask. There was a friend of mine who asked a girl if he could kiss her! That really cracked me up! Can you imagine that?....

Now, put yourself in a woman's shoes, if you ask such dumb questions, how can she answer you? If she says yes to you, she will appear too cheap but if she really does like you & does not want to reject you, how is she supposed to tell you?

This is usually followed by the sound of silence..... An awkward silence between a man & a woman is what you do not want to experience for yourself.

It is no secret that women are attracted by the confidence of a man. Confidence only shows that a man is totally secure with himself which is really attractive to a woman. Those questions above will only make you look pathetic in front of her.

Do not ask too much or say too much, just bring your relationship to the next level, she will flow with you, if she likes you too.

Now for the most important part, how to tell her.....

- Your delivery method, the way you communicate with her, is even be more important than what you are about to tell her, especially in this special case.

- You must be at least 70% sure that she is also likes you before you tell her, you must tell her at the right time.

- Ambience is very important, especially to women, make sure it is a nice, romantic place.

Whatever happens next, just remember it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.

Inexpensive Valentine Gift Ideas

3 comments - Post a comment

Over the past few decades, Valentine’s Day has gone from a fun little romantic holiday into a fully commercialized day that’s all about buying expensive flowers and even jewelry. Gone are the days where this day was about showing how much you cared about one another, or is it? With a little creativity, you can come up with some very unique and inexpensive valentine gift ideas.

Make Your Own Cards

Buying a pretty Valentine’s Day Card has gotten expensive. Make your own card by digging through the craft box. All you need is a sheet of cardstock or even construction paper and a few decorations. Write a personal message on and inside the card. Dig through some old pictures and find one of the two of you. Cut out a heart shape from red or pink construction paper and cute a whole inside, just big enough to fit the picture. Glue the picture on the card, then glue the heart on top of it. Use other heart shapes, stickers, markers, glitter and any other crafting supplies you have lying around to finish the card....

Homemade Treats

You’re also not stuck with having to buy expensive boxed chocolates. Surprise your sweetheart this year with some homemade treats instead. Dip some large strawberries in melted dark chocolate and allow them to dry on some wax paper. Sprinkle some chopped nuts or coconut flakes on the chocolate before it dries. Or allow it to harden and then melt some white chocolate. Pour the melted white chocolate into a Ziploc bag. Make small hole in the corner of the bag and use it to drizzle white chocolate over your chocolate covered strawberries. You can also make a batch of heart shaped sugar cookies, chocolate chip or peanut butter cookies decorated with a chocolate kiss, or even your favorite brownie recipe.

The Gift Of Your Time

One of the most precious gifts we can give these days is our time. With our many obligations, we often don’t spend as much time as we’d like to with loved ones. Take an afternoon or even a whole day off and spend it together. Go to a movie, grab some lunch, take a walk together or do anything else the two of you enjoy. Cook dinner together and then snuggle up on the couch to watch a good movie. It doesn’t really matter what you do as long as you make an effort to spend this special time together.

Menu Mailer – Make Dinner Easier

Here’s another great gift idea that won’t break the bank. Best of all, the recipient will be able to enjoy it all year long. Get a subscription to a weekly menu mailer. Wouldn’t it be nice to get a list of dinner ideas along with the recipes and a pre-made grocery list? With all the planning already done for him or her, the two of you will have more time to enjoy each other’s company each night.

A Clever Valentine's Day Gift

No Comment - Post a comment

You know the routine; picking out that special card with just the right verses, and then that special gift - an upscale box of candy, some flowers, maybe a nice ring, a new car, or some tickets for a cruise.

According to Wikipedia, The historical background of Valentine's day seems to go back to Christian martyrs named "Valentine" who died while standing up for their religious beliefs. "The first recorded association of Valentine's Day with romantic love is in (a poem) Parlement of Foules (1382) by Geoffrey Chaucer:

For this was on seynt Volantynys day
Whan euery bryd comyth there to chese [choose] his make [mate].

This poem was written to honor the first anniversary of the engagement of King Richard II of England to Anne of Bohemia. A treaty providing for a marriage was signed on May 2, 1381. (When they were married eight months later, he was 13 or 14. She was 14.)"

So how did Valentine's day go from martyrism to romantic love? That I'm not sure of, but now Valentine's day is all about our feelings toward that special person. However, I can't help think about the martyrs, and how their sacrifices helped to build a strong foundation for the Christian religion. And I can't help think about what gift would last beyond a ring, a car, or a cruise, and therefore have more meaning.....

Janet and I drove through Arcadia, Florida recently. Arcadia is home to many illegal immigrants, living in dilapidated trailers crowded with two, three, maybe more families, and when we drove by, a young woman with a baby in her arms smiled and waved at us, and as I recall this, I can't help wonder what her husband will do for her on Valentine's day.

He probably works for a landscaping company, or a builder, making wages lower than the federal or state minimum wage. No insurance, no worker's compensation, no healthcare. But he can't complain, or he will be reported. He is a slave. You can see him on the back of open landscaping trailers riding with 15 or 20 other men before the sun comes up, and coming home after dark, sometimes in the rain or cold when they cover themselves with plastic garbage bags. He is doing the best he can. He has sacrificed everything to live in fear, for the hopes that his children will have a better life someday. He is a martyr.

And he loves his wife as dearly as any other man does, and he feels bad in his heart that he can't do better for her . . . and Valentine's Day is coming. There will be no cruises or new car for her this year, not even a ring, or a box of candy, or even flowers. It will be just like any other day, as he works in the rain, or the cold, or the relentless sun, on well-to-do people's lawns. He feels no animosity toward them, he only respects them and hopes that someday he will be able to have a place of his own. He has a kind heart.

So what will his gift be to his wife, the most important person in the world to him. What can he give her that would be better than a car, a cruise, or a box of candy? Maybe he has given her the cleverest Valentine's gift of all - his entire life.

Human Pheromone Reviews - The Scent of Eros

4 comments - Post a comment

Are you confused after reading countless reviews on human pheromones, in a vain attempt to determine which attractant pheromones work the best? Or which work at all? If so, hopefully I can steer you in the right direction.

Three months ago I conducted my own experiment. An empirical pheromone review, if you will, in which I tested the top ten pheromone products on the market and documented my testing results. The empirical method is one of the most direct and to the point methods of evaluation. In other words, I tried the stuff, and documented whether or not others responded to it.

Why? I conducted this pheromone review method because the truth of the matter is, that scientific research in this field is still in its infancy, there is no true solid "evidence" that positively comes to a conclusion one way or another! The true analysis one can derive from existing clinical studies on attractant pheromones is, that they "don't know" exactly how humans are affected by pheromones, they currently have sound theories regarding the matter, but not solid scientific proof.

For reasons of brevity I will not go into all ten products contained in my human pheromone reviews, but I will address the top pheromone product, the Scent of Eros....

The Scent of Eros is produced by Stone Independent Research, in collaboration with James Vaughn Kohl the author of the book by the same name. The Scent of Eros fragrance line is one of the oldest in the pheromone industry, they have been in business since the beginning of it all!

I ordered ten small gel packs of the Scent of Eros for my testing method, and applied a full gel pack, as you would an aftershave product, during the given testing periods.

The smell of the Scent of Eros is very pleasant, both pleasing to the wearer and to others around the wearer. The pheromone product drys very quickly as if you had applied a moisturizer, and seems to last from anywhere between 6-8 hours.

The responses I observed while wearing the Scent of Eros were always very positive, from males and females alike, which is definitely worth mentioning. This attractant pheromone is designed to "enhance ones natural appeal," with the affect of making those around the wearer noticeably more "friendly" and "chatty." It is a perfectly safe product to wear in the workplace, as the smell is pleasant, and the overall affects are more conducive to an office environment, so long as you are ok with more attention, as you will get "noticed."

I quickly observed a prime example of the Scent of Eros' effectiveness during a one-on-one sales meeting I had with the purchasing manager at another company. I met in her office to negotiate a new contract on behalf of my employer. This purchasing manager is in her mid to late twenties, married, quite attractive, and is very energetic and quick witted.

Prior to walking into the meeting I had applied a Scent of Eros gel pack. I was not able to observe any response from this manager until after about 2-3 minutes had passed..and then it clearly hit her.

This fast talking quick witted purchasing manager, become noticeably more relaxed, at ease, and friendly with me. She also responded by slowing down in her speech and volume, she started was speaking very quietly, which is not her normal behavior while negotiating a contract!

As time went on during this meeting I observed her leaning forward in her chair towards me, with intense interest in what I had to say. Amusingly, she was not nearly as quick witted as normal, she seemed to become more, "distracted," unable to find paper work she had misplaced on her desk, nor remember what she had just said in regards to the business we were discussing. In short, she was completely relaxed, at ease, and distracted from the business at hand, behavior which for her, is completely "out of character!"

As I had to utilize my laptop computer for information during this meeting, I kept noticing out of the corner of my eye that this young lady was intensely staring at me, at my facial area, as I looked down at my computer. She clearly did not think I noticed her looking at me, as she would look away when I looked up from my screen.

The day in which these results were observed, I had only used the Scent of Eros attractant pheromone, and no other products. As I would soon learn these results would become rather typical, with certain pheromone products.

It is important to mention that during my real life testing, I purposely attempted to remain neutral in my behavior, so as not to skew the results. In short, if a person shows interest, I would show none in return, I would be mister all business. This method allowed me to determine that it was in fact the purchasing manager's behavior that changed, and not my own, with the only wild card factor being that of The Scent of Eros in this particular case.

In closing, while conducting my various human pheromone reviews, I really don't know how these products do the voodoo they do, but I do know what I am able to observe and document.

If you are looking for a hidden advantage in the game of sexual attraction, learn more about the power of attractant pheromones by reading my complete Empirical Pheromone Review in which I also share which pheromone products worked, and which clearly did nothing! Kyle MacRannell is a die hard product review fanatic! I love the excuse to use and play with the products I review, usually for free, just so I can give other folks the real dirt on how stuff works, or more likely than not, how stuff doesn't work! No hype, just the facts, as I see them but of course.

Why Women Prefer Bad Boys

4 comments - Post a comment

Not real: Nice guys are too nice. No one can always be that nice unless they're a saint. They are busy being nice instead of being real and women instinctively don't trust that. Bad boys "keep it real". Nice guys don't want to upset the apple cart.

Respect: No one respects a doormat. Nice guys don't set boundaries or make any real demands. A bad boy doesn't let a woman walk all over him or control him. Women can't respect a man they can control. No respect = No attraction.

Predictable: Most people lead boring, predictable lives, so they're attracted to people who are exciting and unpredictable. Bad boys are always a challenge. Nice guys are never a challenge. Predictable = No excitement = No challenge = I prefer a bad boy.

Mother Nature: Women are designed to nurture. However, instead of doing this with children, they often end up doing it with bad boys. They think their love will save them. Nice guys rarely need to be saved.

Fixer-Upper: Nice guys don't usually need to be fixed. Bad boys usually do, so they become a project. Women think if they can "create" the perfect man, he will never leave them. Also, if they're busy fixing someone else, they don't have to look at what needs to be fixed in their own lives.

Sperm wars: Women are designed to procreate with the strongest possible genes. Bad boys are sending an unconscious message that they have great genes, so they're not afraid of losing the woman by misbehaving. Nice guys are sending a message that they don't think their genes are good enough, so they won't misbehave.

Fear of intimacy: If a woman is afraid of intimacy, she subconsciously knows she can avoid it with a bad boy, since she can never get close enough to him to have to go there. A nice guy will eventually want a commitment, and that's scary.

Low self-esteem: We don't feel comfortable with people who treat us better than we treat ourselves. If you don't think much of yourself, the bad boy is simply reinforcing your negative belief. A nice guy is treating you in a way you're unfamiliar with.

Sex: Women feel a nice guy won't be good in bed. They like to be manhandled sometimes and think a nice guy won't be able to take control and get the job done. A bad boy comes across as being able to get the job done, even though that may not always be the case.

Hot: Have you ever seen a bad boy who wasn't hot? I'm sure there are a few, but they wouldn't be able to get away with half the stuff they did if they didn't look so good. Meanwhile, when a woman describes someone as a nice guy, she means, "He's not hot".

Charm: Nice guys don't always know what to say, and are sometimes at a loss for words. Bad boys can be very charming and know exactly what women want to hear. However, they eventually switch over to being selfish. By the time they reveal their true colors, the woman has fallen for them and has a hard time letting go.

Protection: Historically, men have protected women - physically and otherwise. Bad boys give the illusion of being able to protect women, while with nice guys, women aren't so sure.

Life is about balance. Most men fall into either the bad boy or the nice guy category. The ideal man is neither, but walks that fine line between the two. Until men learn how to do this, more often than not, women will choose the bad boy.

Dating Your Coworker or Boss, Is This A Good Idea?

3 comments - Post a comment

That’s a million dollar question! Dating your coworker or boss, someone you see at least five days a week, eight hours or more a day, why not? Well, that depends if dating your coworker will create problems in the workplace for you. Probably not a good idea to date your boss, this could cause problems for you down the line.

Imagine, you’re in the company cafeteria talking to your coworker that you date. Sally and John just walked into the cafeteria and they immediately start staring and whispering to themselves about the both of you. You know they’re talking about you because they look in your direction continuously while they whisper.

You and the coworker you date, feel very uncomfortable with Sally and John’’s reaction to you having lunch together. You think to yourselves that it may have been a mistake for you to have lunch together in the cafeteria where you work.

You’re now going to be the topic of your other coworkers conversation you believe, thanks to Sally and John who are known in the workplace as the king and queen of gossiping at your job. Both of you now wonder if the two of you should be dating and what were you thinking when you decided to have lunch together in the company’s cafeteria.....

What type of problems could dating your coworker or maybe your boss cause? Well, what if you get into an argument at home or while you are on a date, when you go back to work you have to see that person almost everyday! If that person is your boss, then you could possibly loose that promotion you worked so hard for or maybe you have to walk on eggshells while you’re at work! This could make you feel very uncomfortable.

Or, if you’re getting along well with the coworker or boss you’re dating, your coworkers may think when they see you together that you may be getting special treatment. Especially if the boss you are dating favors you and gives you a promotion. This could cause a problem for the both of you.

If you just have to date your coworker or boss, consider keeping your personal relationship outside of the workplace! When you participate in this type of relationship, keep it professional in the office and personal outside of workplace. This is key in keeping the work place rumor mill to a minimum on having information about you and your coworker dating.

Only you will know if dating your coworker or boss will be a good idea for you. If you don’t believe this will cause a problem, then go for it! There are many people that have found their soul mates in the workplace. So do what makes you happy, after all you are in control of your own destiny and love life.

Why MySpace.com is So Popular for Connecting with People

No Comment - Post a comment

Dating MySpace Women OnlineMySpace.com is a powerful web site which helps people connect with others who have similar interests in topics such as music, film, geographic location, and relationships.

This type of site is known as a social networking web site. There are other similar sites that have been popular in the past such as Friendster and Classmates.com, but MySpace.com has definitely become the leader in social networking sites, boasting a member list of over 100,000,000 people as of August 6, 2006. According to the owner of MySpace.com, located in NewsCorp of Hollywood California, it is growing at a rate of 500,000 new members every week.

Everyone from small town bands and rap artists to large film makers are using MySpace.com to connect with its large database of members and to provide more information about Pop culture.

MySpace has received some criticisms regarding the age of its users. Teenagers as young as 14 can register for a Myspace account. Although their profiles are automatically private, this has been the source of some controversy about allowing users this young to interact with others on the web.

Myspace does have other restrictions for users under the age of 18, but there are still possibilities that make many concerned parents and organizations uncomfortable.

How Does it Work

Myspace allows you to create an account using some basic information such as name and email address. You are not required to give up any personal information.

Once you have an account you can network with the millions of other members who have Myspace accounts. You can also search for people who have similar interests and then interact with them using special Myspace features such as blogs, chat and the add a friend to your page feature.......

How to Signup

To singup for a MySpace.com account, just go to the signup link on their home page or visit Myspace.com for the link.

Once you signup, you can log into your account and build a web page using a simple menu and a step by step process. You can easily change the look and feel to reflect your profile using graphics from sites that offer free MySpace.com layouts.

You can also add photos, music, and videos to your profile that will attract others who are interested in the same things, which makes it ideal for up and coming bands and artists.

Finding Groups, Friends, and Relationships

You can also search the network using browse, keyword searches or by groups. Once you start to find people you want to meet, you can invite them to your network. In some cases, their friends see you and may also invite you to their network. Your network of friends can grow literally by being invited to one person’s network.

Why is it so Popular

As more and more people go online, more people are seeking to meet others with the same interests. Web site networks that facilitate this type of communication have historically done very well on the Internet.

It is very easy to open a Myspace.com account and find tons of people and groups who have all of the latest news on various topics, especially music and film, which are staples of pop culture.

It is also free to join MySpace.com, which makes it even more attractive to the general public and gives it the power to easily compete with fee based interest and relationship sites that have been around for years.

As the online community gets larger, more people are looking for easy ways to connect with others without having to pay a lot of money or without having to spend hours of time searching different web sites. As a result, MySpace has become the popular place of choice to instantly connect with other individuals and groups of people.

Relationship Help For Women - Love & Listening

No Comment - Post a comment

I'm not listening. I'm acting like I am, I'm standing here. But my daughter's face may as well be on a movie screen. It flickers in front of me.

There's food on the stove. There's a half-written article on the computer. My vitamins are waving to me from the kitchen counter. I'm all over the place. Every place but here.

And she can tell. My daughter has a nose for who's really there and who's not. But she's still talking, and so I think, between the scattered words and phrases "and then he ..." that I actually hear, I'm listening, I'm listening, she believes I'm listening!

Then she stops, looks at me. I've been found out. she breathes. I breathe. She goes on. I have a second chance.

I know what to do. I unfold my arms from in front of my body. Start a CoachRori Body Dialogue - but wait. This isn't the time for a Body Dialogue. This isn't about me. It's about her. Her experience. Nothing to do with me.

The stove, the computer, the vitamins are all calling, and still the only thing to do is...listen. I throw myself Over There, to where she is. I move myself away from myself, and focus on her nose, her eyes, her words. I don't remember anything more except that she was smiling, and pretty thrilled and breathless about her dream, what with the chase, the roller coaster and the mistaken identities, and that I wasn't even there.

When there's someone else talking, you can bypass your brain and get instantly present by going to Level 2 Listening. Here's how it works:

Level 1 Listening is It's all about me. Level 2 is It's all about you. Listening at Level 3 is a bit esoteric - It's all about everything. Listening to someone and then feeling heard by them is an unbelievable experience – and it's very rare. Most of us are at Level 1 all the time. Most of the time, we aren't really listening, we're thinking about ourselves – what we're going to say next, what we think about the other person, that our pants are too tight, we have a pimple on our chin, anything but the person right in front of us.

When we're in a conversation with someone, and we're thinking about how what that person is saying relates to us, we're at Level 1. I may be sitting or standing here talking with you, but actually I'm all in my own head about me. Oh, that happened to me too! Or I wonder if he likes my hair or I wonder if he'll ask me out. There is nothing wrong with Level 1 Listening – in other words, being all about ourselves – except that it limits our ability to really relate to others.

Level 2 Listening is the complete reverse of Level 1. Imagine how, when you're utterly in love with someone, all you can see is their face, all you can hear is their voice, all you can smell is their breath and cologne. Their words and the feelings they express are, in that moment, the most important things in the world to you. In fact, the only things in the world.

When you listen to a man, really Listen at Level 2, you will change the moment, the interaction, the entire relationship. And as a result, he will change – almost overnight.

A man you think you're not attracted to might suddenly open up and become really attractive to you once you find out about him. To do this, just relax. Relax completely and be over there, with him. Let yourself go as though you no longer exist.

Your thoughts are just passing through – you're over there. You don't have to talk, or smile, or do anything.

Just listen.

Here's how to practice Level 2 Listening right now. In the Have the Relationship You Want workshops, we work in partners. One person talks about themselves - what's on their mind, what they did today, anything. The other person listens at Level 2. The talking person's only job is to focus on them self, and the listening person's only job is to focus on the talking person.

I say, Listeners, all you have to do is listen. Get comfortable. It doesn't matter if you're leaning forward or leaning back. Look at your partner. Look at their face, their eyes. Try to stay focused on their words. Really give yourself over to them completely. You are at Level 2 Listening, which is all about them – it's over there.

If you notice your mind wandering back to – Oh, that happened to me too, or Yeah, I agree – which is Level 1 – shift back to them. When you're really at Level 2, you'll be completely immersed over there. Okay – go.

If you have a friend to work with, practice on each other. If you are working alone, let's do the exercise differently:

Put yourself in front of a mirror. Imagine that you, in the mirror, are going to hang on every word you, in front of the mirror, say. Your mirror image will follow wherever your thoughts go, giving you total attention. Go ahead and talk about your day. Tell your image everything that happened to you today – the emotion of it, the detail of it, what was important about it. Laugh, cry, say whatever comes to mind. Pay little or no attention to your mirror image.

Now, when you finish up, think about how it felt to completely unload your mind and heart while your mirror image did nothing but listen. She did not interject, offer advice, even go uh-huh. If you imagine that you in the mirror were listening intently and compassionately, you may feel as heard, as light and unburdened as you would practicing with a partner. Now, in order to reverse it, we'll do without words altogether.

Look at yourself in the mirror, and become completely absorbed in your image's eyes, hair, nose, mouth, smile – with this important agreement: You must pretend that this mirror image is someone else. In this way, you can look at the mirror image's hair and notice that it has gray in it, or curl, or a highlight, without thinking about it. In other words, as soon as you say to yourself Oh, I have to color my roots, you've moved back to Level 1 Listening.

Your job is to observe with attention and compassion the qualities of the face in front of you, and to commune instinctively with the emotions conveyed by the face and the person in front of you. You are to forget that the image in the mirror is you.

Try this for a few minutes and see what it feels like. It may feel like a mental vacation. A moment to observe and feel without thinking. Without bringing your observations back to yourself.

Now take what you've experienced and practice it out in the world.

I encourage you to practice, practice, practice. Practice with the busboy, the clerk, your blind date, your boyfriend or your husband, your children, your friends, your relatives, your pet, the birds outside, and total strangers. Practice and notice when you go back to Level 1. The more you do it, the more natural it will become to listen at Level 2.

Once thing I do remember, and try not to forget, is my daughter stopping abruptly at the end of her dream-telling and hugging me before she danced off, back to her room, back to her computer, back to her books and her music, back to her life.

Valentine's Day, Fairytales and Finding Your Soul Mate

No Comment - Post a comment

Is it really any wonder that we're in so much trouble as a society when it comes to marriage and relationships when you look around at the various media portrayals of what an ideal, healthy relationship might look like. Let's start with a popular ballad about the expectations you might have of your soul mate:

"I don't care who you are, where you're from
Or what you did, as long as you love me."

What a beauty! Talk about co-dependent low self-esteem as the end goal.

Then there's the big line from the movie Jerry McGuire:

"You complete me."

What is that? Are we really walking around as pieces of a soul mate jigsaw puzzle, waiting to find our missing piece in the form of another person or be doomed to a life with our incomplete self? I don't think so.

Now before I go any further, the point here is not to destroy your enjoyment of popular songs (that I can admit to humming along with) or movies (that I actually enjoyed). Rather, I want you to put them into some much needed perspective.

They're fictional, these stories didn't happen, they're not true. And it's a good thing too!

Go back to the song's lyrics for a moment and read them again and imagine what that relationship might look like. And this time don't sing the lyrics, just read them as a statement.

I love this exercise, because when you take the message out of the context it was presented to you, well, it's not quite so romantic is it?............

Unfortunately, as a society we're taking this form of subconscious relationship advice in by the truckload. We don't examine the actual message because we're too swept up in the emotions they trigger. And what's the end result? We have a society where the popular belief is that fairytale can come true.

I'm sorry, but the fact that it is theoretically possible for a street prostitute to end up with a handsome billionaire as in Pretty Woman, is not a good reason to wait around for your own knight in shining armor to come riding into town on a white horse. Likewise, it's very doubtful that a delightful, princess of a woman is going to magically see through your outwardly destructive behavior, to the man for all seasons that lies within.

And then there's the doozie that we've all fallen for in one relationship or another, that "love" will conquer all. The Beatles lied when they told us "All You Need is Love", because they left out all of the other components that you need in order to find, and keep your true soul mate.

You're going to need to be very, very clear on exactly the type of person you want in your life, the kind of values they would have (as well as clearly knowing your own values).

You'll need to have a healthy and developed sense of respect, for yourself first, and then for the person you're inviting into your life.

You'll need to master the art of direct, truthful and sincere communication and be prepared to hold yourself accountable for using it.

You'll also need trust. Trust in you, and trust in your partner with a clear understanding of your mutual agreements and the consequences for breaking them.

And of course you'll need to learn the techniques necessary to apply all of these components with your partner.

We claim to all want rich, loving relationships, yet it's been my experience that people are mostly treating their relationship like it were a game of chance. Think of it like this; finding your true soul mate and creating your ideal relationship is the equivalent of playing a round of golf with someone and each of you shooting par on every hole ... does it make sense to try to do this without taking lessons or instruction from someone who has played to that level before?

Of course not.

You don't get lucky or unlucky in love. You either get the necessary knowledge, and through its application create what might look like "luck" to an outsider, or you continue to enter into relationships hoping that the next one will be "the one" or that the one you're in currently will spontaneously evolve into the relationship of your dreams.

Your soul mate is out there, you just need to decide how important it is that you find them.

Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend

3 comments - Post a comment

In most traditional relationships, women expect their man to give them gifts of jewelry, and the men do so. Today, more women are paying special attention to giving jewelry to their men than ever before.

Giving jewelry to your spouse or romantic partner has always been a popular gift. Often holidays like Christmas, anniversaries and Valentine’s Day prompt men to run to the jewelry store for something shiny and expensive. Imagine how much more valued this gift would be if given without a major holiday attached to it. Why not give your partner jewelry for no particular reason, other than love?

Diamonds are always popular when it comes to choosing jewelry, other gemstones or simply silver and gold can be just as popular. You probably know that each month has a gemstone that represents it, and those gemstones each have a symbolic meaning. If you really want to blow your partner away, select your jewelry for it’s significance to a particular month (birthday or anniversary for example) or for another more personal meaning.

Here’s a brief look at the gemstone for each month and their meanings.

January – garnet, represents faith and stability and is available in many colors, except blue

February – amethyst, represents sincerity and happiness and is royal purple in color

March – aquamarine, represents hope and bravery and is a blue-green or sea-green color

April – diamond, representing joy and innocence

May – emerald, represents peace and tranquility and is always green

June – pearl, standing for wisdom and pureness

July – ruby, represents passion and nobility and is always a beautiful red

August – peridot, stands for patience and has a yellowish-green color

September – sapphire, represents honesty and hope and is available in a variety of shades of blue

October – opal or tourmaline, represents confidence and sweet love................

November – topaz or citrine, stands for friendship and faithfulness and both are brown through orange or yellow

December – turquoise, represents understanding and success. In 2002, the AGTA added Tanzanite as another December birthstone

As with any gift from the heart, presentation can count nearly as much as the gift. How would you feel if your beloved just tossed you the diamond ring and said “Gotcha something?” Now, what if they went to some amount of effort to present it to you? There movies and personal stories everywhere about how people have presented a special piece of jewelry to their spouse. Believe it or not, food is one of the most popular methods! People tend to place rings in champagne or other clear beverages or bake it into their special person’s favorite pie or cake. What is often left out of these stories is the precautions you need to take. Make sure your loved one doesn’t actually eat your gift, or worse, choke on it. Next, check with your jeweler about any physical precautions. Champagne will actually dissolve pearls and if you baked a ruby it may crack!

Giving the gift of a lifetime is a significant investment, and you shouldn’t enter into it lightly. Do your research, make sure you know what you’re buying, and how to make a good decision. Why So Many Relationships?

No Comment - Post a comment

Hi Dennis,

I read your books, and like their practicality. I have one question of theoretical nature: why is it that woman usually do have had more previous relationships than men, although they are 'supposed' to be the more monogamous gender? Are they just trying a lot more short-term relationships? As you said, men usually focus on one at a time. This seems counter-intuitive to me as I understand woman.

Along the line, you mentioned their 'monkey-like' 'tree-hopping'; quickly moving on to the next relationship; again counter-intuitive to me what else I know about women. Could you please explain?

=======================

Hello!

Thanks for the comments on the book and for your support! We're constantly getting great reviews and if you'll excuse my arrogance, I've never seen a more complete, practical guide about dating, sex and relationships anywhere else!

I know exactly what you're asking here - and you're right on the damn money! This DOES seem counter-intuitive! In fact, there are a number of reasons why it's true:

1) Women have more opportunities than men.

More men approach women than the other way around. Thus, women have more access to relationships than men do. All a woman has to do is say "yes" - she doesn't have to approach anyone or risk getting rejected.

2) They comfortably overlap relationships.

As you pointed out from the book, women will rarely leave one relationship without having another firmly in place. Thus, as a relationship starts to wither, they will actually seek out another - even if it's not exactly what they want. They might not call this a "relationship", (even though it is) and they honestly think they're just being "strategic".

3) Women define themselves by their relationships unlike us guys that define ourselves by our careers.

Women are under much more self-inflicted pressure to be in relationships. When they're not, they believe they're "losers" and something is wrong with them. Thus, they'll easily move between multiple relationships in trying to find one they want to be in. This causes problems of course in that many women lie about dating multiple men, but as you also know, women are far better liars than men are for this very reason - they have to be!

4) Women will define even minor dating experiences as "relationships" whereas guys don't do this.

When women start dating a guy, they instantly think of themselves as already "with" him. They imagine how their names will look with his last name on a wedding invitation, or how it would be to be addressed as "Mrs. Whatever", etc. Thus, this very act solidifies the relationship in their minds.

This also leads to some nasty breakups where women build the fantasy only later to find out it wasn't true - and they blame the guy for it! Women don't even know they're doing this to themselves!

5) Women also define their male friendships as "relationships".

Many women have guys hanging around them and actually collect these "friends". They intuitively know that these guys only hang around them because they want something more, but since the women control how far things go, they're not motivated to prevent it in the first place. They see this as "gaining experience" or "studying men" and actually believe that these horny guys represent a cross section of most men.

You and I know they don't, but this is exactly where the idea that "men are dogs" comes from - these guys that are always ready to hump their legs!

By the way, as I mention in the book, women won't admit to the real number of relationships they've had! Thus, when a woman tells you that she's had "2" or "3" or whatever, multiply that by at least 2 - and you're still probably short!

Best regards...
